All shall be revealed...
On air Leah and Reva get along wonderfully. Shayne arrives and makes a fuss about being on the show. On commercial break Reva talks to Shayne and realizes Carmen set him up. Against her better judgement she has Shayne on with Leah. They go public with their relationship. They get snickers when they enter Company. Nola blasts the patrons and bans them from coming back. Everyone else in the restaurant cheers for Buzz. Leah hugs him. He reminisces about the sweet child she was and how being supportive is the answer. He tells her she never has to pay at Company ever again. Bill is disgusted and begins digging up dirt on Leah. Bill realizes Leah and Alan-Michael hooked up once. Apparently after she decided to transition, she left Springfield, moved to Boston, became a prostitute, and met Alan-Michael. Bill confronts Alan-Michael to come clean or Bill will expose Alan-Michael. Alan-Michael asks Bill why he hates Leah so much especially with her being Michelle’s niece. Bill says being transgender is wrong and disgusting; he’s trying to save his cousin Shayne’s soul but he’s not religious. Alan-Michael tells Bill if he goes public with the news he will ruin his own reputation not Alan-Michael’s or Leah’s: Leah was a prostitute because when she transitioned no one would hire her after her boyfriend beat her up and ruined her reputation even with her MBA, when Alan-Michael went to Boston he recognized her as his cousin Jude, paid for her to stay in a hotel, and they talked about her options. He helped her leave hooking, get a modeling contract with Powershouse Modeling, and move back to Springfield. Bill feels bad and leaves. Leah confronts Bill later knowing he talked to Alan-Michael. She is about to yell at him, when Bill kisses Leah; Shayne sees. Leah pushes Bill away after Shayne leaves. She slaps him and leaves. Nola and Vanessa realize Bill actually loves Leah. When they confront him he tells them he will never like her because he’s not gay. Vanessa shows him it’s okay to love a transwoman as he meets successful intergender couples. Bill rushes off to find Leah.

When Ross’ diagnosis comes out Dinah takes it upon herself to be Ross’ caregiver infuriating Blake. Justin quits working to take care of Ross which causing stress in his marriage to Trish. Jason pulls away and throws himself into school/soccer. When Daisy tries approaching the subject he blows up at her; later he apologizes, and they talk about his fear with having an older dad. He states how desperate he is to marry and have kids for his dad’s sake. Ross overhears and feels like a burden to both Blake and Jason, but Dinah yells at him when he asks her to assist him in ending his life. She encourages him to fight. Jason, Blake, Dinah, and Justin alternate for Ross’ chemo treatments with Dr. Christian Moore Sr. attending to him.

Christian and his wife Dr. Isabelle Moore and their kids Dr. Christina Moore and Dr. Christian “CJ” Moore show up in town working in Cedars. Christina is making secret phone calls when not working; while CJ starts going online to gay chat rooms. He tells some that he’s not ready to come out of the closet being the only son and so much pressure from his father. He swaps pictures with Benjamin “Ben” Sampson. The two agree to meet up, but CJ stands up him leaving before Ben can see him. Ben chews CJ out via phone call. Ben’s parents Kyle and Rita Sampson tell Ben they are moving their headquarters to Springfield due to the cheaper taxes. Holly talks to Kyle and Rita about their return to Springfield for The Journal. Kyle explains he was moved to a hospital in Boston where Rita was a nurse. He states Rita quit her job and helped him rebuild his company to Sampson Cosmetics, and now the company is a success and a legacy for Ben. Holly tells them that’s a lot of pressure on Ben, but Rita snaps that Ben is capable. Holly pulls Rita aside and hopes they can resolve their past, but Rita is still bitter Ed always chose Holly over her. Rita goes back to Cedars and bumps into Isabelle. The old college friends have lunch and discuss her being in Springfield, her stillborn son with Ed, and her life with Kyle and Ben. When Rita tells Isabelle that Ben is openly gay, Isabelle tells her she suspects CJ is. Rita tells her to support CJ and not try forcing him out of the closet. Isabelle opens up that Christian will not accept a gay son. Christian and Dr. Charles Grant meet to talk about how lucky they are to have strong sons they are proud of. Charles states his son David and daughter-in-law Kat live in Boston and have one son; his daughter Gilly is married to a record producer named Sid, and they live in NYC. Christian brags about his two kids in the medical field, but longs to have grandkids especially from CJ. Meanwhile Kyle and Ben talk about Ben’s love life just as Kyle gets a phone call. Isabelle becomes Mallet & Harley’s ob/gyn and gets them on fertility drugs to help Harley get pregnant. Kyle visits the Lewises and prays for Billy. Dr. Annie Dutton shows up as Billy’s doctor. Reva freaks out as Josh restrains her. Reva says Annie is bad news; Annie states “Well I guess Josh told you.” Reva is confused as Josh explains he and Annie dated briefly while Reva was in a coma; Annie states he dumped her when Reva woke up. But that won’t stop her from helping Billy. Rick confirms Annie is one of the top cardiologists in the country. Vanessa begs Annie for her help; she tells Vanessa she will do whatever she can. Reva confronts Annie stating to help Billy then leave town. Reva has flashbacks of Annie holding her hostage on a plane and pushing herself down the stairs with Reva’s hand. Annie tells Reva they aren’t enemies; Reva tells her to stay away from Josh before leaving. Annie smiles. Marah takes over at Trends in Vanessa’s absence, but gets no credit from Vanessa or even a thank you.

Roger sabotages a few of Holly’s dates till she finally agrees to go on a date with him. She relives the night he raped her. He tells her he’s changed, but Holly tells him he’s still a scheming backstabber. He tells her he’ll always love her because she is the mother of his child; she tells him Blake is the product of that rape. She leaves in tears with Alexandra within earshot. Unsure of what to do Alex tells Fletcher. Fletcher tells her to stay out of it. Alex talks to Alan. Alan pays a journalist at The Journal, and they run the story of Blake’s conception. Maureen calls Roger to the carpet for his behavior.

Jenna and Buzz have a long discussion and honestly consider divorce, but decide to go through therapy with Maureen. Buzz confesses he always feels inadequate for Jenna; Jenna feels Buzz’s inadequacy. Jenna and Buzz decide to take a second honeymoon together in Washington, DC where Buzz visits Vet hospitals. When they get back Jenna overhears Maureen & Vanessa speak about Billy, she holds a benefit dinner for Billy. Frank tries sabotaging AJ & Marina, while Eleni tries encouraging it. Frank finally holds a meeting at the station that no cops going forward should fraternize. Marina confronts Frank as he tells her he doesn’t want her to marry a cop. He finally relents when AJ expresses how he feels about Marina.

Frank orders the crew to crack down on the Santos family; just as Danny is about to kill Jenna Michelle calls him. They talk and end up setting up their first date. Danny dreams of a “straight life” with Michelle. Danny confronts Carmen telling her he will no longer run the business as he’s VP anyways. Carmen listens to his arguments and tells him it’s okay. She visits her youngest son Antonio “Tony” Santos in prison; he promises he’s learned his lesson and wants back in the family business. She makes calls and bribes the Mayor to get Tony pardoned; Carmen hosts a welcome back party for Tony even calling her daughter Pilar from college overseas. Danny confronts Carmen telling her to keep Pilar away, but Carmen manipulates Pilar to admitting she wants to move back to Springfield. Danny tries convincing Pilar not to, but Carmen showers her with gifts and attention. Danny warns Carmen not to bring Pilar into the family business; Tony privately tells Danny he will help take down Carmen, but they need to work together.

At Cedars Alan-Michael catches Dinah in the hallway. He’s there for his annual physical. She at first stone walls; he tells her his mother had breast cancer a few years ago so he knows what she’s going through. The two bond and end up talking at Company about her fears. They begin going on dates, but hide their relationship at work because she doesn’t want people to think she’s sleeping her way to the top.

At the Bauer barbecue Amanda tells Natalia how she feels, and Natalia rejects her. Amanda dives into work; Alan-Michael talks to Natalia on Amanda’s behalf. Natalia admits she’s never dated a woman before and feels due to her religion it’s wrong. Alan-Michael forces Natalia to look inside herself to see if living without Amanda trumps her religion. Natalia goes to church and prays for the answers. Rafe overhears Natalia praying before bed and talks to her telling her he accepts her. Natalia finally tells Amanda she loves her, and they kiss.

Quint tells Nola to butt out of AJ’s business as he begins to get fancy clothes and a new car. Nola gets kidnapped looking for answers. The people tell her to never breathe a word of what she has found about AJ being paid off by Carmen. AJ shows up and saves his mother from a gun shoot out at Company. Nola slaps AJ and tells him if he continues with the payouts from Carmen she will tell his father. AJ tells her he secretly paid off Company’s outstanding debt and other things she was struggling with before. Shocked Nola tells him she will pay him back, but AJ tells her no. AJ brings Nola and Quint together to tell them he works for Carmen to support the family. Quint tells AJ he will do what he can to help, but Nola states she washes her hands of him. AJ gets fired up, and the two end up arguing. Nola throws AJ out of Boardinghouse. He calls his sister Dr. Anastasia “Stacy” Chamberlain in Africa. Stacy comes to town trying to be peacemaker, but Nola doesn’t budge. Stacy takes a job at Cedars and moves in with AJ at Birch Woods.

(Sophomore Year) Rafe and Daisy begin dating, but Jason (angry over Ross) begins interfering in their relationship. Daisy slowly starts to like Jason. Rafe confronts Jason, and the two come to blows. Blake comes to the school yelling at Jason stating they are dealing with too much. She puts him into counselling with Maureen. Rafe realizes why Jason is acting out, approaches him, and they become friends.
